Jen & Co Wholesale Customer Requirements:
To become a Jen & Co wholesale customer, you must provide and meet specific requirements along with consenting to the Jen & Co term agreement provided on our website/trade show. We require applicants to have a retail store front and/or an established e-commerce website(see below for specific requirements).We require and verify a copy of your business license/ state retail sales tax license prior to approving all accounts. We may also ask for pictures of your store front and a list of other lines you carry prior to approval.
Jen & Co is committed to providing our customers with high quality products. In order to provide our customers with a high quality brand and fair trade, we have to establish a Minimum Resale Price (MRP) to protect the profitability of our retailers. Our MRP minimum mark up for our brick and mortar stores is 2.2. Our MRP minimum for online retailers has to match our online retail store. Off-season items are exempt from meeting the MRP. Occasional store wide sales are allowed, but the price must be marked down by a percentage. If we find that these requirements are not being met, we have the right to close accounts that are not following the minimum requirements.
Amazon, E-Bay, Etsy, and other Online Sellers:
In order to sell on any online platforms, an application must be completed prior to selling online and be approved. Approval is determined by meeting our customer requirements, being an established verified seller, and following all company policies. As stated in our MRP policy, all online retailers must match our online retail store prices (excludes entire online website promotion).
To be considered and eligible for territory protection, customers must have a storefront and an application must be filled to be considered and approved for territory protection. In addition to the application, it will also be required to have a business license and a picture of the store sent in via e-mail or fax. Furthermore, we will require that retailers spend $2,500 every 90 days per location. Our territory protection covers you within a 10 mile radius*
(*This is determined by the company location. A location with a condensed population will have smaller protection radius). Franchise, chain stores, online marketplaces, and popup shops can override territory protection. Inactive accounts will be automatically removed and the account can reapply again.
For an item to be returned, an RMA must be issued. Once the RMA is generated, the customer must return the item(s) within 7 business days from when the RMA was created. The customer is responsible for shipping if the return is due to a non defect, the shipping cost will be deducted from the refund. If there is a return requested due to our error, we will take care of the shipping costs and the customer will be refunded completely.
